A few recent stories involving two of Hollywood's biggest names.
In Chicago, Bill Murray was making the news when he jumped 13,000 feet out of an airplane and landed on a beach, as part of an air show.
Murray, who can be a difficult autograph signer, was in good spirits. He joked about wanting frequent flier miles. He shook hands with the people that trained him, and waved to the crowd. No word on if he signed for anybody, though. I'm sure he did.
Across town at Bernie Mac's funeral, thousands of people showed up. Music was played from Isaac Hayes, who also passed away recently, and was with Mac in a movie coming out called "Soul Men".
Samuel L. Jackson, also in Soul Men, was the main speaker at the funeral. He talked about everything Mac did for inner city kids in Chicago. He also said "He never turned that kid down for an autograph. He always had time to shake a hand. He was always that kid from Chicago who wanted to make everybody happy and everybody laugh."
The 50-year-old comedic legend will be missed.
